Our Biggest [ KID FREE ] Christmas Party Weekend

Happy Monday friends. If you saw on my Insta Stories over the weekend- it was a huge holiday explosion of parties, festive fun and lots of laughter with co-workers and friends! Plus it was a huge weekend filled with lots of quality time with my main man ( something that is super long over due for us! ) But let’s dive into all that happened.

Friday Night
After work I went with my friend Kristen to get our hair done at fabulous blow dry bar for our holiday office party later that night at the Four Seasons. We loved our stylist and chatted away. I went with a simple look- just pretty curls ;) Afterwards, Zach picked me up and we drove to the hotel to get ready. We then ventured down the ballroom to chat with my fellow co-workers during cocktail hour, enjoy a delicious dinner, grab a few prizes from our holiday raffle and dance the night away together! I’ve never had so much fun with my adorable work family!

We stayed overnight at the Four Seasons which was super convenient since we didn’t get to bed until about 1am. Zach and I both woke up, grabbed brunch and began to do a bit of Christmas shopping around the Shops of Buckhead. I loved the quality time with him laughing, holding hands and just spending one on one together without the kids.

After shopping we changed and got ready to attend our friend's housewarming/Ugly Christmas sweater party! What a blast! I loved seeing how Elise decorated her adorable home and ring in a great time with such special people in our lives.

After another big night, Zach woke up early to pick the kids up from our amazing friend's home ( Grammy watched both kids Friday and Saturday so we could enjoy these holiday festivities! ) We spent the rest of the day actually all taking long naps from such a big weekend, opening up a few early Christmas gifts before our big drive to Iowa on Friday and enjoying a much needed relaxing time.

Phew! So yes, a huge kid free weekend like I said filled with so much joy, holiday spirit and the love! And now- let our short week continue!

  1. Awww looks like you all had a fun weekend! I love going to our blow dry parlor in Raleigh and getting my hair done! I don't do it often, but it is definitely a good little treat!

  2. That sounds absolutely lovely! We had a weekend like that at the end of the summer in NYC, but reading your post makes me jealous!
