Happy Monday friends! I'm a little groggy from the weekend. I went out with my two SIL's and friends to a wine tasting event in Missouri. Don't worry, I have a great recap of our time together coming this week that you won't want to miss, especially if you're planning something fun like that for you and your girlfriends too this summer! It was such a great time!

Today, I actually wanted to share a great #MondayMatters about attracting people not just to be friends with you, but starting your own tribe as we hear so much in the blog world. What do I mean by that? Well, here's a little quote to help you remember.
Isn't that the truth! The only way to truly attract people is to be yourself. If you're pretending to be someone else, your group of friends will notice. Does that matter? Of course it does! Your tribe are those that love you for you, that really "get you". They are your support system, your cheer squad and your group that is going to be there regardless of it all. When you have that sense of community, you feel as if you have a sense of worth.

But just joining a community isn't enough to make you part of your tribe. The key to feeling all that love, is really engaging with everyone! Being an active member is what will make it feel like a community!

Imagine if you're walking into your first day of school or a new job. You wouldn't just stand in the corner and stare at everyone right? Like it or not ( and yes I'm actually a huge introvert at heart ) you need to introduce yourself and get to know your new classmates or new office-mates right?

These same principals apply to your online community and your tribe as well. Sure, it's easy to get swept away and just lurk in the background watching everyone have fun but that's not why you joined the community!

My other two cents is staying positive! We all can have our time to event but I think what attracts us most to others is confidence! I love a great confident person who knows what they want in life and in work. I'm always wanting to share some great tips with you all and attract confident, loyal and amazing woman in my group ( Hey #CaitsCozyTribe ) and if you think you are one, then you for sure need to join mine ;)

So think about it friend, how is your vibe attracting your own tribe? Are you putting out negative or positive vibes?

  1. Yes! I've always believed that your vibe is important in attracting people to be in your tight-knit tribe. I love this! Also noticed your middle name is Elisabeth. My real first name is Elisabeth with the "s"! I don't meet a lot of people who spell it the same way. ;)

  2. I think we absolutely attract the things and people to us that resonate at the time and I also think we can attract not so good things especially if we don't have an awareness around it. Good food for thought here! --Kristi

  3. Great post! You definitely have to be yourself when it comes to making friends, in person or online. It gets tiring if you try and be something you're not for too long.

  4. YES YES YES!! I definitely think that our vibe attracts others with a similar vibe to us. With that said, I know that I am someone who has dealt with anxiety and depression and with that, I can fall further down that kind of rabbit hole if I surround myself with people of similar mentalities. When I'm in a good place and surround myself with others who are more optimistic, it's so much easier for me to stay in that place and revert to those reactions.

  5. Completely agree with all of this! When you give off a certain vibe it attracts others or it pushes them away. Being true to yourself is so important! I have never been able to be someone that I am not because of how my personality is.

  6. I totally relate to this post, lately ive really began reassessing the people i surround myself with. I'm trying to live my life in a positive way and its really put everything into perspective.
