Tips and Trick To Keeping A Warm Natural Glow During Cold Months

This post was sponsored by wet n wild as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
I dont know about you, but here in the Chicagoland area, it sure is getting chilly around here. The cold weather seems to really be affecting a lot of people wishing we were all on a beach instead of bundling up in thick coats and scarves. Actually, I was just chatting with my girlfriend how excited I was for the upcoming holidays and how to add a little more natural glow both inside and outside! Here are my big 3 tips to help you achieve the glow you're looking for!

1. Hydrate - During the cooler months, you may forget about hydrating your body since you don't sweat as much when walking outside. The air actually has a tendency to dry out your skin even more during the winter months and causes my skin to become dry, flaky and red unless I really start to drink more water. Sometimes I even have soup as a great option as well. Healthy and hydrated skin starts on the inside so make sure that you are replenishing your body with water multiple times throughout the day.
2. Use MegaGlo Body Luminizer - Wet and Wild recently launched the MegaGlo Body Luminizer in three different shades. Heart of Rosegold, Gold Rush and Invested in Bronze. These beauties are an all-over body highlighter that is lightweight, build able formula that has a micro-fine pearl pigment that helps create a luminous effect. It actually moisturizing your skin with macadamia, passionfruit seed, grapefruit seed, sunflower seed oils and again. All of these shades are cruelty free, gluten-free and parable free. The Gold and Bronze are also vegan!

Personally, I loved the Rosegold one for right now to give off a light glow but I can see myself wearing the Invested in Bronze during the summer months because of my dark completion during those months. All of these MegaGlow Body Luminizers are available at your local Walmart and all under $10 so I had to stock up on a few while I was out shopping.
I added these MegaGlo Body Luminizers to my face to and body to share with you how easy it is to apply as well as highlight and give yourself that natural glow you're craving this winter. I took the Rosegold highlighter and added some to my cheeks to give it a warm glow, as well as my forehead and nose.

I also love that this product is very build able so you can start with one application and then add another until you get the right glow you're looking for. I would suggest applying it in natural sunlight to make sure you are wanting it's true effect. You can see the great sheer glow that my right hand has opposed to nothing on my left. It truly just leaves your skin looking dewy and not shiny which I love. These make a perfect gift for the holidays too!

3. Choose Healthy Meals  - Despite the weather being colder, it's easy pack on extra pounds you'll get upset about later but don't distress- it's all about choices! You can enjoy all the sweets you want as long as you have healthy foods throughout the day to balance it. I always keep fruits and veggies on hand to snack on because it's the first thing I see in my fridge. I also like to share it with my kids as well so they also can choose a healthy snack like cheese and crackers, carrots dipped in ranch dressing or a handful of grapes.

How are you giving yourself a natural glow this holiday season?
