Favorite At Home Work Outs


Since starting my training for Warrior Dash about a month now and I've been trying work out videos that I can do at home. It's so much easier for me to get up before my kids, start a video and enjoy getting about a 20-30 minute cardio, HITT or yoga! I love it and found some great ones that I'm excited to share with you all!

Yoga- One of my favorite works outs you guys! My favorite on Youtube right now is Sarah Beth Yoga. She really has some great workouts that  are categorized by time or intensity. Some of my favorites even just a  "chill" yoga for 10 minutes just to get some sanity back. Moms you know what I mean!

Pilates- I used to do a lot of Pilates when I first started working out to get some strength training back in my life. I also forgot how DIFFICULT it can be despite not burning so many calories.

Walking/Running In Your Home - If you don't have YouTube or don't want to purchase DVDs, I suggest just walking around your home/apartment and if you have stairs, use those to get some cardio in! Sometimes I don't feel like doing a 'class' so I'll just do this and it still burns just as many calories! Who says chasing after your kids isn't a good cardio?!

BodyFit By Amy - One of my best girlfriends suggested this and it's amazing. Amy has so many work outs to choose from including HIIT classes, strength and core exercises. There are modified versions as well which makes you feel good to ease into if you need too.

Tally Rae Work Out - I actually met Tally at my girlfriend's wedding last summer and we hit it off talking about blogging and her fitness journey. She's as lovely in person as she is on her channel and I love all her exercises and encouragements. I mean really, who doesn't love a good British accent ( ha love ya girl! )

  1. Since I am now much older than probably most people reading this I do daily walking. We live on a farm and that pretty much gives me a workout every single day.

  2. I tend to just jog around my house. I really don't do anything indoors. I really should though. I might have to start lifting weights.

  4. I also walk around my house when I cant get outside. Or I use my Treadmill. If my bike was working I would ride it around the neighborhood. Because it feels good to get up and move. YouTube Videos help me in my exercise or Music Videos because my son will get up and dance with me if I play something he enjoys.

  5. I don't do much workout at home. Only does walking. Nowadays as weather is cooler it is not happening. I need start doing it. We have Treadmill. I need to check out yoga though.

  6. I do go to the gym three days a week, but I do want to exercise more than that. I will have to try out a few of these at home and see how they work for me.

  19. I do some Tai Chi at home, but that is about it. I love seeing how others work out, but I have never liked it for me.

  24. This is great! As a guide I am constantly travelling and need things I can do form a hotel room. Will definitely save this post and come back to some of these ideas. For yoga I like Yoga with Adrienne, you should check her out :)

  34. I used to do workouts at home all the time, I need to get back into it! I've heard of a few yoga ones on you tube I need to try this one out! I just started doing pilates at a pilates studio and I'm really loving it so far, but working out at home is a lot easier!
