Being a Mom is hard work, there is no doubt about that. The long nights with crying children, the tired eyes during school drop-off, the messy piles of laundry strewn all around the house – did I just describe yourself or myself? It’s true! I’m one to always put my family before myself.
It’s our job as a Mom to take care of others, yes, but I think one thing we should do is really find a way to put ourselves first. These are a few tips I’m doing to help myself do this!
Drinking Plenty Of Water –
Time and time again I keep sharing tips and tricks to drink enough water. This is a huge downfall of mine that I admit, but I know I need to do it. I carry a water bottle with me that either has fresh cold water or I even add some fruit to it to give it a more refreshing taste. My favorite combination is strawberry, mint leaves and lots of ice chips!
When I began training for the Warrior Dash this past summer, it was such an incredible experience. Despite it being over, I still love getting out of bed at 5 am (yes that’s right) to get in a workout before my kids wake up. Having my workout finished and one thing crossed off my list is the best way to jump-start my morning and allow me to feel my best.
Taking Daily Vitamins –
Recently, I started adding more vitamins to my diet. One product, in particular, is one that I found very helpful. Source Naturals® Wellness Formula® delivers a comprehensive blend of high-potency vitamin C plus 25 more key nutrients and time-tested herbs in 1 product. The vitamins and herbs found within Wellness Formula support immune health, promote normal mucus production in your respiratory system, keep white blood cells healthy from free radicals, promote a healthy response to stress, and support a healthy respiratory system!
