I know that it’s crazy to think that 2020 is finally going to end and a new year is approaching. With all of the exciting things that is hoping to come, this is the moment where many of us try to plan or set goals for ourselves and our family. If one of your goals is to become more organized ( lists help too ) because of anxiety, planning, or just looking for a better schedule that will work for you, this post can assist you with a few helpful tips. Be sure to also check out how to organize your desk.

Find The Perfect Planner
For me, the first way I start to get organized is by finding the perfect planner. I’ve been an avid fan of Erin Condren planners for the last 12 years for several reasons. I love their Life Planner to help keep things organized. The Life Planner offers several different types of ways to help what works best for you as for as their layout is concerned. Check out your options here to see what works for you.

Get The Right Tools To Help Color Code
If you are looking for a pen to help you use your planner then try their GEL PENS. They are super bright, don’t bleed through the pages, and don’t smear when you write too. One of the easiest ways to keep yourself organized is color-coding. Find different color markers, pens, or pencils to use to help. For instance, I put deadlines for blog posts or collaborations in blue, appointments for the kids in purple, and workout routine’s in green. This helps me do a quick glance at my day before it even starts to know what I need to do and get accomplished

Decorate
This is the fun part! You can decorate your planner however you wish with fun stickers, tape, or even doodles if you wish! I’m honestly not the best at doodling myself but I love making my pages stand out each week! It’s also therapeutic to decorate them wit hall the fun stickers Erin Condren provides too.
On The Go
Now that you have everything in place to keep you organized for 2021, you can also take your planner and pens with you on the go. I love this super handy Planner Folio that keeps all my pens organized as well as my planner safe from any leaks in my purse.
