Investing in yourself is one of the best things you can do. Whether it’s investing in learning a new skill, tapping into your creativity, hiring a new coach, or developing yourself professionally, you need to give to yourself fire before you can give to others. It’s our own responsibility to take the time to develop our talents so we can help others. So many of us keep sharing about self-love this year and why it’s critical to being our best self.
Having the time to invest in ourselves is so powerful and sends that message to the world. It shows that you value yourself, your time and your energy to do what’s best for you. Can we really reach a point in our life that we can really do this? You bet we can! I’m sharing 5 tips below on how you can invest in yourself this year and the best part is, you can start these right now!
1. Taking Vitamins –
I’ll be honest and say I just started doing this tip a few months ago. I began taking a few specific vitamins a day that my doctor told me to do, including a Multi-Vitamin and a Magnesium to help relax my body. There are several vitamins out there to talk to your doctor to learn what’s best for you and your particular health and body.

2. Learning How To Pay Off Debt Faster –
This was a goal of Zach and mine to accomplish last year and we were able to cross it off our list. How?! Simple steps helped us out such as paying the minimum payment on all your accounts, put as much extra as possible towards the account with the highest interest rate and then once the debt with the highest interest is paid off, start paying as much as you can on the account with the next highest interest rate. Continue to do this until all the debt is paid off. During this time, we also helped save money by staying in most nights, playing games and finding fun and exciting things to do in our community that was free. For those of you who need a little extra help to kickstart your credit journey, CreditRepair.com is a leading provider of credit report repair services in the United States. CreditRepair.com educates and empowers its customers to achieve the credit scores they deserve.Credit Repair is there to empower you to achieve the credit score you deserve and enjoy a lifestyle of greater opportunity!
3. Working out –
While I love the feeling that working out gives me, motivating myself to get it done is half the battle. I shared my tips to becoming a morning person and for me, having this crossed off my list as the very first thing I do in the morning has been truly life-changing. I’ve been trying new videos and circuits to help change up my strength training which has made a difference. You don’t have to spend a fortune at the gym either. Try to make a home gym within a room in your home with a few weights, a mirror and your phone to watch a workout video.

4. Investing In Your Credit Repair –
Do you have student debt, medical debt or have been on military leave and have been left with credit mistakes as a result? When Zach and I first began looking for a home, we had no idea the amount of work it took to get our credit score to a good number. Credit Repair is always worth considering if you’re a good fit for it and definitely a worthwhile way to invest in yourself for the new year. 5. Eating Better –
It’s so tempting to eat junk food all day but the more I work out and invest in making sure my body feels good on the outside, shouldn’t I be doing the same for the inside as well? As soon as I finish a workout, I grab a 32oz water bottle and begin drinking. I also meal prep a lot of healthy foods to eat when days get busy such as energy balls that are packed with protein oats, honey, flaxseed and chocolate chips. Cut up vegetables and fruit are always in airtight containers and simple to grab and snack on when I feel a little craving coming on. Making these small adjustments has not only been great for me but also noticeable that my kids continue to ask for carrots and ranch dressing instead of chips and dip.
