Jumpsuits are all the rage right now for summer and I am here for it my friend! At only 5’2 myself, I thought there is no way I’d be able to feel comfortable wearing something like this in public. For starters, all my friends that really rocked these jumpsuits were extremely tall and looked slimming and stunning! I decided to go into a dressing room last weekend and try a few on. Wow- I was shocked at how much I loved every single one that I tried on!
Why Jumpsuits?
Jumpsuits right now are a HUGE statement style. It’s a head-to-toe garment that adds a look that goes beyond just a simple dress or pants and a top. It’s not the easiest piece of clothing to pull off and the wrong fit or accessory can go from being incredible to dull. I love being able to throw it on and within a few minutes, I’m out the door ready to take on the day.
When I asked you all on my Instagram Stories if you were interested in me sharing a few of my favorite jumpsuits there was an overwhelming response saying YES! You rocks ROCK! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the selections for everyone! Petite, Plus size and all in between- there truly is a jumpsuit that makes you feel like your best self!
Many of the jumpsuits I found are under $50, extremely comfortable and flattering for every body type. If you are short like myself, choose a slim, cropped style but if you are tall, look for a wide leg jumpsuit that finished just above the ground.
Are you thinking you want a more casual look, then look for loose fitting jumpsuits that feature drawstring waist. These are extremely comfortable to throw on when you run errands, traveling or lounging around the house.
Are you attending a formal event, look for a sleek styled suit that’s tailored and slimming to your body type. You can also add cute accessories to dress it up like a fun heal, clutch or statement jewelry.
For those that may not be on the jumpsuit train, make sure to check out 25 spring dresses for any occasion! There are some ranging from cozy and easy to throw on with sandals while others are a more sleek and formal fit.
