Christmas traditions are what I look forward to every year. Over the last 7 years, I have created Christmas Boxes for my children to open. What is a Christmas Eve box you might ask?
Christmas Eve Box
A Christmas Eve box, are filled with various items my kids enjoy. I fill the box with Christmas pajamas, candy, fuzzy slippers, and a book. You can fill your box with anything you think your children are going to enjoy.
This year, I decided to let them help me wrap their Christmas Eve boxes. I tapped the boxes shut so they weren’t able to get a sneak peek. They both loved helping to cut the paper, tape their gift together, and place a bow on top. I’ll be honest, I loved having the extra company too!
While we listened to some of our favorite Christmas songs, we also sipped our new holiday drinks! I found Sparkling Ice at my local Meijer and thought it would be a fun treat for my kids to enjoy too. There are 18 fizzy fruit flavors with a splash of juice, colors, and flavors from natural sources as well as vitamins, antioxidants, and zero sugar! It makes it a better beverage option during the holidays. Honestly, my children can’t get enough of all the flavors they offer. You can purchase any Sparkling Ice products at Meijer and receive points for Sparkling Ice Rewards and have a chance to Enter to Win a year’s supply of Sparkling Ice.
We also enjoy watching some of our favorite Christmas movies including Home Alone, The Grinch, and Christmas Vacation. I have even attempted to add some fun kids snacks for them to enjoy including a popcorn bar for them to fill their popcorn boxes with other fun toppings, a hot cocoa bar or even creating an entire platter filled with fun and festive snacks. Despite the holidays not being as grand as previous years, I’m still determined to make it a memorable one for my children, including one of our favorite traditions!
