I love a good fall wedding. The weather is cool and crisp, everyone is excited for the upcoming vows of their friends/family member and you get to wear some of my favorite dresses without feeling sticky or sweaty. Take it from a bride ( aka myself ) who had her wedding in the dead of summer and it was 114 out. Opps- sorry to all my friends and family that went through that for me. You’re all the real MVP there!
Zach and I have 2 fall weddings to to attend in the next few weeks and I wanted to share some ideas on what to wear for a fall wedding if you’re going attending as a guest.
I never used to be a huge fan of sleeves until I found this gorgeous leopard dress ! It’s chic, classy and def on trend for a fall wedding. It’s extremely soft, has a round neckline, long bishop sleeves with elastic wrists plus an attached tie at the waist. But the best part? It’ has POCKETS !
Colors are really fun to wear in the fall! I like to look for jewel toned dresses such as deep purples, maroons, dark greens or turquoises. There are so many great choices to find that you’ll be able to look for a style and one that works for your body type and hair color. PS- if you’re a brunet like myself, trust me when I say grab a deep pump to wear!
Lace seems to be extremely popular to wear to weddings. It can be just a lace dress or overlaid over fabric. I’ve worn a few cute lace dresses to weddings and received several compliments on them too.
Below are some other affordable, jaw-dropping and comfortable dresses/jumpsuits to make you feel just as special as the bride herself at a wedding. Hopefully you can find one that fits your budget, your style and your amazing personality to wear and feel beautiful at a wedding you attend this fall.
