You all know I’m a huge fan of desserts but have you ever tried making dessert dips?! Zach is a HUGE dip guy especially when it comes to buffalo ranch dips or anything with ranch- basically he’s in. For me, I want all the sweetness.
We threw a fish fry over the weekend and a friend of mine brought this incredible funfetti cake batter dip to serve with various cookies to dip in. It was so dang good you guys! Does anyone remember cooking with their mother ( or father ) and wanting to desperately lick the bowl after you baked a cake?! Mine said no because of the raw egg in it but Zach always said he was able too ha! That’s what this dip tastes like- the raw, smooth taste of cake batter and you CAN eat it!
This Funfetti Cake Batter dip will be the bit of every party your bring it too because it brings people back to simpler times ( and that’s what we need right now right ?! ) I love this dip because to me it not only reminds of a fun birthday party but or dunkaroos ( please tell me you all remember that! )
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 8 oz whipped topping
- 1 box Funfetti cake mix
- 1/2 c milk
- Add whipped topping and cream cheese to a large mixing bowl and beat with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Add cake mix and 1/3 cup milk and stir with a wooden spoon until combined. Dip will be very thick, so add more milk, a little at a time, until you get to your desired consistency. I used about 2/3 cup for my dip.
- Serve garnished with sprinkles and whatever dippers you prefer. Graham crackers, animal crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzels, fresh fruit, etc.
