Hey there friends! I know I’ve been MIA the last few days but that’s because it’s been a crazy week! I’ve been here and there gathering last minute Christmas shopping items, forgetting things at home and running from work back to get them..it’s just been crazy! On top of which, if you’re reading this- we’ve already been in the car for the last 10 hours driving! EEKS!
I just wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone before I take a few days off to enjoy with friends and family. You all know how it goes right? But before I sign off, I wanted to share a few things that I’m loving this week! As always, feel free to share what you’re enjoying in the comments below!
1. Faux Spanks Leggings– Why did it take me so long to jump on this bandwagon I have no idea but I am on it! I was shopping with a friend of mine and have been lusting over these little babies forever. They had them in the store and when I tried them off– I swear the heavens sang. Unreal as you ALL have been raving about week after week. Thanks to you I am one happy lady and will probably wear these for the next 5 months or at least for my cousins’ Bachlorette party in Chicago next month!
2. Vacation – As I said, if you’re reading this we ( aka my little family and I ) have been on the road for the last 10 hours. We’re driving to Iowa to visit Zach’s family and see our friends for the entire week! I’m super excited and can’t wait to see everyone especially needing some time off too- this last month has been insane!
3. Work Outs- I’ve shared my off and on again struggle the last few weeks with working out, especially after my brutal sickness that took over! I’m still attempting to get our gym a few times a week but man, it has been a true struggle and I’ve been really hard on myself about it. I finally decided that regardless of how many times I go, I’m still getting up, moving around and attempting to be as active as possible despite being so swamped. Positive attitude am I right? Who else has some easy work outs I can try too?
4. Ready Player One Novel – I’ve shared my love of this book a few times on the blog and realized that they were coming out with a movie trailer for it next year! I may have geeked out a bit and decided to re-read it again. It’s seriously a great read and one that always surprises me because I’m typically not a sci-fi genre lover– however this book grabbed and sucked me in. Read it. And then let’s chat!
