I can’t believe I’m 37 today. In all truth, every year really does seem to get better and more exciting. I love the crazy surprises, the new adventures that come with being a year older and just enjoying each moment as it comes. Somedays are easier than others of course but I’m grateful to have incredible family and friends to help me out of it when it happens.
Some years I like to be big and crazy for my birthday while others are quiet times at home. This year is a bit of both. Zach and I [ plus Lily ] are attending Ed Sheeran tonight with friends and then enjoying tomorrow with a little family gathering. Just the way I like it!
When I was a kid I wasn’t a huge fan of my birthday because it meant that school was starting school. This summer has been so much fun, soaking in the sun and moments with my kids, sleeping in, staying up late, and eating way too much junk food. It’s what summer is for right?
