I’ve been blogging for a few years now and while I think there are moments where there is nothing left I need to know to build my little business, it’s untrue. Technology and the way we market to build our company changes often so it’s best to stay on top of what you need to do to keep your followers coming back day after day. Recently I figured out three ways to help build my traffic using tips I found in a novel I was gifted. The book is called Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers by Russell Brunson.
Did you know one of the biggest problems that most entrepreneurs have isn’t creating an amazing product or service; it’s getting their future customers to discover that they even exist. Every year, tens of thousands of businesses start and fail because the entrepreneurs don’t understand this one essential skill: the art and science of getting consumers to find you. This is so true! I found three tips that Mr. Brunson shares on how to help achieve that.
Dream Client –
So far, I’ve already learned the importance of finding out who your dream client is, what makes them so valuable to help you grow your business and tricks to seeking out that client. For instance, as a life and style blogger I have a wide range of followers but to figure out who I wanted to create my business around seemed tricky. Ideally I’m a Mom looking for ways to keep her life organized and simple as possible. My kids are always on the go, schedules, and meals need to be made and the same goes into my business. I want my blog to be clean, easy to navigate, and simple for anyone to find recipes, organization tips, and parenting advice when looking at my top tabs or searching in the search bar tool. By completing the challenge, I was able to learn key strategies to increase my site traffic which was essential for me and learning what my audience was looking for based on questions I asked in my social media channels.
Looking for inspiration is anywhere. Think of your favorite bloggers or social websites. What inspires you to keep going there day after day? Is it the way they talk to the camera? Do they have large photos that leave you speechless? What about taking them along with you on their journey throughout the day. Whatever it is, write down what it is you love and try to incorporate that into your own business. Use hooks to help engage your readers to keep coming back by prompting them with questions or things you’re doing throughout the day.
I’m continuing to read through this book and can’t wait to use these strategies to keep you all engaged, excited, and looking forward to what’s to come next!
