When summer hit’s our household, you can bet that my husband, toddler and I are always on the run. We’re hitting up our local farmer’s market for fresh ingredients on an early Saturday morning, racing laps at the pool in the afternoon and finishing our heated day by creating fun dishes to munch on for dinner. We also love hosting friends over at our new home! I love making sure my guests are comfy, happy and always reaching for more goodies when they come over ( and they come over hungry! ).
One of our favorite dishes to make are delicious deer burgers. Zach is the grill master in our house hold and he loves to slather these deer burgers in rich spices, onions and whatever else he finds throughout the house. They never disappoint and our friends always enjoy the juicy flavor of the meat. I’m always asked to do the sides with his burgers and while I’m not the best cook, I gravitate towards sides that are simple, easy and don’t leave a huge mess.
Suddenly Pasta Salad is such an easy side dish to whip up in minutes! Instead of slaving away with 4-8 ingredients, I have everything I need in this easy box! Each box contained dry pasta and veggies along with a packet of seasoning mix. You can also use stir-ins to create a main course or just enjoy it as a tasty side dish. The flavors vary such as Classic, Ranch & Bacon, Caesar, Creamy Italian, Creamy Parmesan, Chipotle Ranch, Basil Pesto or Tuscan Style Tomato.
I decided to grab the Creamy Italian because I love to add ad little zest to my meal. The directions are easy to follow on the back of the box and you can customize your dish to your liking. I added some red ripe tomatoes to this dish which was the perfect little pinch of color and crunch. I also added small bits of mozzarella cheese to add to the already creamy flavor. These two unique items just made the dish even richer and more cheesier than ever ( and you know I love me some cheese! )
