My Thoughts: I was a huge fan of Wild and Eat, Pray, Love so I couldn’t wait to start reading this epic journey of one persons dream. I adored the people she interacted and came across, their own personal stories as well as the various locations she visited. I’ve skied my entire life so the constant struggle to carry all of her luggage plus skis already seemed exhausting to me as skis can be such a hassle at times!
I also adored the writing. Steph is a pretty witty individual and I found myself laughing out loud in various parts of the novel! I also appreciated how honest she was with her journey, her doubts, her excitement and her overall dream. If you’re looking for a quick page turner, this novel is for you! I actually loaned it to a friend who knew nothing about skiing and she raved about it to another girlfriend! Take my word friends, you’ll need to pick this up!
