Happy Monday friends! What a great weekend we had. It was pretty full with several activities, errands and of course, celebrating our main guy in our life; Zach for Father’s Day yesterday. Unfortunately my Dad wasn’t in town so we weren’t able to celebrate with him as well but we did FaceTime and wish him a wonderful day!
For Father’s Day this year we kept it pretty low key. We went to Druray Lane for a delicious brunch and met up with my Mom, sister, her fiance Dan and a few of his family members. It was such a nice time meeting them, chatting about their upcoming wedding and even our big trip to Italy next month!
I was also able to experience getting eyelash extensions for the first time! Oh my gosh- to say it makes SUCH a difference is an understatement and I completely get the hype for getting them! No mascara needed and you’re eyes just pop. It’s incredible! If you live in the Naperville area, be sure to check out LashExtensionsNaperville ! My eyes do look a bit red but I feel like it’s because I almost was sleeping for a good hour- it’s so relaxing to be forced to close my eyes and listen to soothing music only to open them looking incredible. The best hour ever you guys!
After brunch we had a few things to get done around the house before our upcoming trip on Friday! We’re leaving to head out of town for a pretty fun event. Where are we going? Stay tuned friends! I've always been intrigued by lash extensions. They seem like a fun luxury to try out but the cost (at least where I live) is ridiculous! I'll do it one day for sure though.

THis soudns like the perfect Father's Day. My husband requested we not leave the house š He just wanted to stay home, relax and play video games. Pretty much pretend like we don't have kids! lol

We were very last minute. The kids and I snuck out while Shawn was home sleeping and picked up cards and gifts. Then we stopped at Tim Hortons on the way back and brought Shawn the coffee and gifts and had a pretty nice day together. Thanks for sharing your Fathers Day.
