I actually flew through this book a lot quicker than I thought as I got sucked into the character building of Edie and the language ( very British! ) which I adore. My favorite aspect of Who’s That Girl is the take on social media. Like most people, Edie is addicting to her phone and built an online image of best self, so when it comes crashing down she has an identity crisis. I thought it was interesting reading about our online selfs in comparison to our real self. How easy it is to make judgements of people we don’t know online or only seeing a small part of how people can portray themselves.
I thought this book was a very emotional, heart-warming and kick butt attitude. The relationship between Edie and her family, her friends, the adorable setting of Nottingham and how we all handle tough situations with the best of our ability.
