How To Save Time During The Busy Holidays

This post has been sponsored by Jewel-Osco. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

With the holiday season fast approaching, there always seems to be a long list of things to get done before company comes and friends and loved ones arrive. If you're one to love hosting like myself, then I have a few tips and tricks to help you save time cleaning and getting everything spick and span—giving you time to actually sit down, talk and make memories with your loved ones.

1. Plan Ahead - Try to designate time each and every day to prepare your home prior to your company coming. Usually a week ahead of time, I will designate a room to clean, put away items, and get ready for guests. This helps me to not stress out if guests arrive unexpectedly or when they are planned.

2. Grocery Shop Delivery - Don't feel as if you have time to grocery shop? As a busy Mom, I completely understand your situation. Jewel-Osco offers a Drive Up & Go as well as a Delivery service to purchase all your items without getting out of your car (or out of your home)! It always helps with two kids and a laundry list of items to get! No screaming toddler or pre-schooler throwing items you don't need in your cart and allows for more family time!

The first thing I did was sign into my Jewel-Osco account and pick out of all of the items I needed to get us through the holiday season. Into the cart went my favorite coffee creamer, my kids' favorite oranges and my sister-in-laws' favorite desserts to enjoy after her long drive to our home.
Within a few hours, my items were brought right to my front porch and put away with my kids barely noticing that we had fresh produce and milk to enjoy! PHEW! Also, if you're a new customer, you can receive $20 Off + FREE Grocery Delivery on your 1st online order!

I purchased these products and more at my local Jewel-Osco, but you can also look for Drive Up & Go and Grocery Delivery services at many Albertsons Companies family of stores including Albertsons, Lucky, Pavilions, Randalls, Safeway, Tom Thumb, Vons, and Pak N Save. Click below to check out the services at your local retailer!

3. Details - To me, little details mean a lot to keep things cozy, calm and enjoyable during the holidays. I like to add a candle to bring in a delightful smell, fresh flowers on the table, and cozy sheets and blankets to snuggle up with for your guests to enjoy!

However you feel can help you save time this holiday season, you want to make sure that you're feeling your best. By having your grocery shopping + delivery conveniently taken care of from your favorite grocery store, you can focus on more important things. Remember to use time-saving services like Drive Up & Go at your local store or Grocery Delivery!

  6. What a great idea for saving time during the holidays! I feel stressed out some normal weeks alone having to grocery shop at school, and I can't even imagine when I'm an adult and have to do so during the holidays -- especially with the stores being as crowded as they are! Great post!
